New Years Haul - London

In November, the hubby surprised me by getting us a trip to London for New Years!! I love London, I spent my 8th year of school there with the foreign exchange student program and we had just been in London for the Wireless Festival back in July.

Now, let's see what I bought or what hubby bought for me: First up from Topshop

These shoes were originally £50. A little more than half off!! I love deals. I would not have paid $90 for these or any shoes! Another thing, the sizes are off. I am a size 10 US which is about 43-44 Euro. I can not fit a 41 Euro. This UK 8 fits a little big on me but not to big to where I can't walk. I imagine if I bought a US 10 1/2 this is what it would feel like..

I love these shoes! My friends think I have a weird taste in shoes but when they see the shoes on me they are like 'Oh they look good on you' lol. I emailed a pick to mum and she says "I love them..." hmm. We haven't always seen eye to eye on what's stylish/cute. I called her today and she said the same, my dad thought they were crazy. Usually it's reversed my dad would think they're cool and mum thinks that they are crazy looking. Ah, they must be getting old. Haha!

But I find these so cute!!

In July, I was on the hunt for the MUA Heaven and Earth and Undressed Palette. I found the Heaven palette no problem but couldn't find the Undressed. The Undressed palette is known as a dupe for the UD Naked palette. My deal with my husband was that if I didn't find the Undressed palette, I would splurge for one of the UD Naked palettes. I love shopping on Oxford Street and the mall Liverpool Street near the tube. We are in and out of stores on Oxford and every time I see a Superdrug we stop and take a look in it. The third store I see the display and no palette but this store the shelves were so low to the ground (lower than the other stores) so I thought why not see if I can reach back there to make sure its sold out. Then my taps against the last Undressed palette, the lovely lady at the till even commented; that she thought that they were sold out and I got lucky. Not only did I save money, but I got something I really, really wanted. That was a bit long sorry about that!

Top-Bottom: Liquid Eyeliner in Shade 5, Lipstick Shade 11 and the Undressed palette.

Love the lipstick it's mostly matte, very little shimmer. I probably have one or two pink lipsticks, this will make a great Spring colour. They liner is very small and makes a very fine line. This my first time with a bottled liquid liner that wasn't Revlon. Revlon's tip is felt and can make a fine line but also make a thick line. Since I ran out of my favourite liner, I decided to give MUA a chance.

There was a promotion going on in Superdrug (I'm not sure if it's still going on now) if you bought £6 worth of MUA products you get the 'Artiste Collection' for free. Not a bad deal if you ask me and I've never had a marbled eyeshadow before so this super. The top row is six eyeshadows, bottom left two blushers and bronzer and highlight colour.

I was intrigued when I saw this because I love the Palmer's Cocoa Butter and in the States or here in Germany, I've never seen this or any type of face wash. I thought I'll give this a shot as a gentle cleanser and a make-up remover. It does a great job at removing a full face make-up. I'm impressed, I'll see how it does against waterproof mascara.

I remember the Simple brand from when I was a teenager and I really needed to switch out my daily cleanser and moisturizer which I try to switch out every 3-4 months. The moisturizer is light just like it says, today I went out and not even 5 minutes later my face started to get really dry but it was cold outside like around -1.

Another promotion buy 3 mask get one free. I got myself the Detoxifying  Dead See Mineral Masks and hubby saw the sticker and decided to get two for himself (even though I wanted two other ones) since he did purchase the Superdrug haul.

That is all folks. The rest of our time was window shopping and visiting my exchange parents. We had a great time, hopefully we'll get to go back to England later this year or early next year.
Ciao!
